Ramadan 29: Return to Routine and Worship – A Delicious Strawberry and Pine Nuts Recipe

Today, we bid farewell to Ramadan in its last days, May Allah accept your fast and prayers. The enthusiasm of many of us for worship always subsided after the holy month, so I remind you of the need to continue fasting and do good after Ramadan.

As stated in the Hadith: “Whoever fasts Ramadan and follows it with six days of Shawwal, it will be as if he fasted for a lifetime.” (Narrated by Muslim)

In this hadith, we are urged to fast six days of the month of Shawwal, and whoever fast those days after fasting Ramadan, he will be rewarded as if he fasted for a lifetime if he does that every year. The Prophet (peace be upon him) informed us about the great reward of fasting, so why many Muslims have abandoned it after Ramadan!

While We bid farewell to Ramadan and prepare to return to the daily routine, we must stick to prayers, worship, and obedience to Allah. We should continue to maintain a healthy lifestyle after Ramadan, as it is also part of worship.

 

 

A Delicious Strawberry and Pine Nuts Recipe

 

Ingredients:

  • A cup of fresh strawberries, cut

  • 1/2 a cup of pine

  • 1/2 cup of walnuts, cut to small pieces

  • 1/4 cup of honey

 

Preparation:

Add pine nuts and strawberries to a bowl. Pour the honey gently and try not to crush the strawberries while mixing. Serve immediately or cover and cool in the refrigerator for later. Enjoy it with your family members on the days of Eid. Eid Mubarak!
