Yes, lamb meat is tender, distinctive, very tasty, and easy to cook. It is the most consumed red meat.  But did you know that lamb meat is one of the most nutritious red meats! Lamb meat is the meat of a sheep in its first year. That’s when the sheep is between 1 and 12 months old.

Lamb meat contains high-quality protein, but it contains low amounts of fat. That depends on the lamb’s cut, diet, age, and gender. The lamb meat that has the best nutrients is the one that is pasture raised and naturally grass- feed; was not given any antibiotics or hormones.
